Ceili tonight (Tuesday Week 7) in the Carlton Castletroy Hostel (across the road from the entrance to College Court) at 8pm.

We will meet people at the Stable's arch at 7:30pm to walk up as a group.

Traditional Irish dancing and music.

Club Talk and Night Out

Hey everyone. The Outdoor Pursuits Club (OPC) Club Talk is going to be held, this Thursday the 17th, in P1001 in the PESS building at 7:30pm.

A few things about the talk:

• You'll be able to sign up to the club.
• You'll be able to sign up for the Burren Rock Climbing Trip this Sunday.
• You get to know all of the committee for this year.
• You get to see photos/videos of what we do.

If that wasn't enough, after the talk we are going to Scholars for a few drinks before we get a free bus at 9:15pm into The Old Quarter where drinks promotions are organised and BBQ food will be available.

We will then round off the night with discounted entry into Costello's.

Be sure to come along guys, it's going to be a good night. Alternatively, the wall is open every Monday/Tuesday/Thursday from 7-10pm, so you can pop down any of those times to join.

All of the activities can go under the banner of adventure sports and are designed for each individuals different level of the sporting ability.

They include:

• Hillwalking
• Rockclimbing
• Mountaineering
• Caving
• Orienteering

Whether or not you have been involved in the club or the sport before does not really matter as we start off each year a new with plenty of beginner's activities.

Even if you are not a member you can go down to the wall and join, or join up on the day, as you will not be permitted to go on activates without being a member.

During the week our activities are in the climbing wall, where you can find in the old sports building. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm-10pm are the days you can find us there. Trips are mostly run on a Sunday, or Saturday and Sunday for weekend trips, so you won't be missing much.
